Ventilex coolers use filtered ambient air or other low-temperature sources. The entire Ventilex cooler is attached to the upper steel C beams, and the entire product bed is raised and moved forward within the fluid bed cooler simultaneously. According to the company, this assures that the product is transported in a first-in, first-out series. All Ventilex coolers are constructed with stainless steel in the process areas. Optional equipment available includes a clean-in-place system and a sanitary design standard that exceeds strict USDA guidelines for hygiene and sanitation, the company said.
