Batch Loading System Pebco Inc., in collaboration with FGR Automation & Controls and Pebco Australia Pty., developed a fully automated train batch weighing and loading system. The loading system structure consists of a surge bin directly over a weigh bin, which is mounted on load cells certified for sale by weight. Four double-blade slide gates located beneath the surge bin control the product flow into the weigh bin. During batching, these gates are closed in sequence as the weight increases toward the target weight. The system uses two telescoping loading chutes.
