Radar Pulse Tracker Bindicator introduced Pulse Tracker, a patented continuous level radar transmitter utilizing a new radar technology. Twinaxial transmission and variable gain amplification allows an increased signal-to-noise ratio and compensation for loss in signal strength, according to the manufacturer. This results in level measurements of materials with low dielectric constants of 1.5 at distances of 60 ft. The product is suitable for level measurement in solids, powders, and liquids. The technology is unaffected by vapors, vacuum, dusts, varying moisture content, and varying product density, according to the company. Bindicator, (+1) 864-574-8060

Concrete Admixture Boral LiNX concrete admixture provides durability for concrete structures likely to be affected by ASR. Concrete cracking caused by ASR is responsible for the premature degradation of concrete and occurs when silica, present in certain aggregates reacts with the alkali in the cement, forming a gel inside the concrete. Under the right conditions, this gel will absorb moisture and swell. As the gel expands, it produces internal stresses that can cause concrete cracking. ASR can expose the concrete to other destructive agents, from moisture to chlorides that may lead to structural failure. Boral LiNX creates a gel that does not absorb excessive moisture, avoiding the problem of expansion. The product can be dispensed into the ready mix truck via a job site dispenser or for large projects, a permanent dispenser can be connected to the batching computer. Multi-Channel Potentiostat PerkinElmer Instruments' eight-channel VMP multi-potentiostat system performs fully automated CPT measurements in one single system. The VMP system operates from the user's office, one building down from his lab. It utilizes Ethernet communications technology to operate each channel independently or simultaneously from any computer on a network. Each potentiostat channel can operate in multi-electrode configurations — 2, 3, 4, or 5 — to perform battery/fuel cell cyclic testing. The system can also be configured as an N-Stat with one counter, one reference, and multiple working electrodes to perform multi-pitting or sensor experiments. To perform multi-channel galvanic coupling experiments, the VMP can be configured as a zero-resistance ammeter. PerkinElmer Instruments, (+1) 800-366-2741

Membrane Media Pristyne Filter Media from Pristyne Filter Media Group is an expanded PTFE membrane laminate. The filter media employs membrane surface filtration so particulates are filtered out on the media's surface rather than penetrating into the media. This prevents the clogging and caking usually seen with subsurface filtering materials and permits cleaning by shaking or pulsing. Pristyne Media Group, (+1) 800-542-2434
