The 2200 paramagnetic oxygen transmitters from Servomex have a measurement transmitter and a separate microprocessor-based control unit capable of accepting inputs from one to six transmitters, the company said. Features include external pressure compensation, background gas cross interference compensation and NAMUR status relays. According to the company, the 2200 also has IS 4-20 mA output, inputs for use with external flow alarms, and ATEX category 2 approval.

Variable Speed Drive

Rockwell's MD60 drive offers V/Hz operation from ¼ to 5 hp. The drives are available in 115V, 230V, and 460V with AC ratings. The drive features a built-in LED display and keypad, a finger-safe IP20 enclosure, with an option to modify with a NEMA 1 kit application, which allows for a conduit connection. The drive also has internal dynamic brake circuitry for use with externally mounted resistors. Performance features include low-speed torque generation, constant torque over a 40 to 1 speed range, and constant horsepower control for output frequencies up to 240 Hz.

Schenck's Disomat B Plus controller is a weight indicator, gain-in-weight batch controller, and a loss-of-weight batch controller for all single feeder batching applications. According to the company, the controller features include a large LCD screen, fieldbus connectivity, keypad, quick measurement, and system parts that can be exchanged without recalibration or reverification. Salina Vortex Corp.'s valve controls the gravity discharge of free-flowing bulk materials from bins, bulk bags, chutes and hoppers, the company said. The IP model offers adjustable positioning between fully open and fully closed through a 180° arc. It is available in lightweight aluminum construction with bronze control ring or all stainless-steel construction in 4-, 6-, 8-, 10- and 12-in. sizes. The QL model offers rapid multiple set positioning through a trigger-type handle lock. It is available in 4-, 8-, and 12-in. sizes, and in lightweight aluminum construction with self-lubricated, hard polymer control ring and handle. A 15-in. size is available in lightweight aluminum construction with Teflon coated aluminum control ring and handle. A form-fitted, nylon fabric sleeve provides a dust tight seal without damage to the product being handled, the company said. An anchored wire sleeve frame eliminates sleeve slippage.

Monitor Technologies' DustAlarm broken bag detector detects filter failures in exhaust ducts of baghouses, cartridge collectors, and other types of dust collection equipment, the company said. The DustAlarm provides uninterrupted dust monitoring, an alarm output indicating changes in filter conditions, and an adjustable sensitivity and time delay. The DustAlarm has a fail-safe operation that automatically changes to the alarm condition if the power applied to the unit should fail. There is also an optional quick-disconnect assembly that simplifies periodic cleaning, the company said.

Martin Engineering's BOCO automatic skirtboard sealing system self-adjusts to keep material on the belt and prevent loading-zone spills, the company said. The skirting floats on the belt, self-adjusting to maintain effective seal. The company said its rubber sealing strip, which is supported by pressure arms between two steel plates, rises and falls with fluctuations in belt travel to maintain an the seal. BOCO rubber sealing strip is available in lengths up to 300 ft. Skirting is designed to fit on any belt with as little as 2¾ in. of free area on each side of the belt, the company said.

RigakuMSC Corp.'s ZSX Mini Benchtop WDXRF cement analyzer is a full range, benchtop wavelength dispersive X-ray fluorescence spectrometer. According to the company, the ZSX is designed for applications either in the production environment or in the lab. The unit is also a back up for WDXRF spectrometer systems for analyzing raw meal and finished cement. The ZSX mini has passed the C114 ASTM performance test, the company said. Rigaku analyzers measure clinker, raw meal, limestone, and cement.
