Bethlehem, Pa.-based Keystone Cement has selected FLSmidth as a partner for a new line at the company's Bath, Pa. plant. The $32 million contract corresponds to a new 1.0 million-tph clinker production line.
FLSmidth will supply engineering services, project management, training, and commissioning as well as all major machinery and auxiliary equipment, including a 38/190 Fuller Roller Mill; a two-support Rotax 2, 4.35- × 56-meter-long kiln; a multi-movable Cross-Bar clinker cooler; a five-stage In-Line Calciner; and a 16-meter-diam CF blend silo with 9,000-mt capacity. The new line is scheduled to be commissioned in 2008.
FLSmidth also was successful in winning a $12 million contract for the pyroprocessing system for a new line at Essroc's Martinsburg, W.Va. plant. All equipment will be designed to guarantee a 5,000-mtpd production output. The project also is set to be completed in 2008.
