Watkins Engineers and Constructors has been selected by Suwannee American Cement to construct its new plant near Branford, Fla. The project, a 2,300-tpd greenfield facility, is scheduled for completion in December 2002. Watkins will work with the Krupp Polysius, the primary equipment supplier, and AMEC, which is providing the balance of plant engineering, to complete the project.
