This year marks the 50th anniversary of the machine engineering group Maschinenfabrik Möllers GmbH of Beckum, Germany. An international equipment supplier for automatic bag filling, palletizing bulk parcel goods, and securing pallet loads for transport, the company was founded by Wilhelm Möllers in 1952 and taken over by Richard Birkenfeld in the following year. Over the past five decades, it has developed from a six-person enterprise to a global conglomerate employing around 800 staff at 13 locations, with sales totalling 100 million. The Möllers Group will be celebrating its 50 flourishing years with shows open to the public alongside the packaging trade fair Interpack to be held in Düsseldorf in May of this year.
