St. Lawrence, Holcim add to disaster relief fund

The Holcim Group of Switzerland joined its North American subsidiaries, St. Lawrence Cement (SLC) and Holcim (US) Inc., in making a corporate gift of $500,000 to the Red Cross to be used for relief and rebuilding efforts following the September 11 attacks. In a joint letter from the top executives of the Holcim Group, Holcim (US), and SLC, the company also encouraged employees to give directly to charities of their choice.
