To control emissions from finish mill high-efficiency separators, Solios Environment recently was awarded three orders for baghouse installations. The projects are: St. Lawrence Cement, Mississauga, Ontario, Canada; National Cement, Ragland, Ala.; and the new TXI plant in Oro Grande, Calf.

The Solios TGT filter technology was selected for the St. Lawrence and National Cement projects. Both will feature two-compartment filters, which will treat gas flows to 500,000 and 580,000 Am3/h, respectively. Both units will be equipped with filter bags constructed of felted acrylic material with ePTFE membrane.

For the TXI plant, the Solios Sonair Filter was chosen to capture the dust discharge from a new 200-tph mill's high-efficiency separator, rated for a design flow of 300,000 Am3/h.
