Ken Derksen, chief operating officer of Cadence Environmental Energy, announced recently he appointment of Ted Reese to the position of director of commercial development.

In his new position, Reese will have responsibility for the worldwide sales and marketing of the company's combustion technology products and services, including Mixing Air, SNCR, and Mid-Kiln Firing. Prior to this job, Reese served the Cadence as its national sales director where he primarily sourced alternative fuels for Ash Grove Cement Co.

In addition to his combustion technology responsibilities, Reese will pursue complementary and strategic waste fuel supply opportunities for Ash Grove. Based in Houston, Reese has been working with the company since it was founded in 1975, but formally joined as the commercial sales manager in 2001.
