Sponsored by the Portland Cement Association (PCA), the American Portland Cement Alliance, and the Cement Association of Canada, the Promotion Progress Awards honor cement company personnel for outstanding efforts in promoting cement and concrete products. All employees of cement company members of the sponsoring associations who have been involved in promotion activities in 2001 are eligible to receive a 2002 Promotion Progress Award. Nominees will be judged primarily on positive results of promotion activities, which may include media relations, advertising, demonstration projects, presentations and seminars, codes and standards committee work, public affairs work, and coordinating a promotion team.

Award winners will be announced at the PCA Spring Committee meetings in Chicago, March 4-7, 2002. Nominations must be submitted to the PCA by December 31, 2001, on a nomination form or via the Internet at www.portcement.org/awards.
