Skokie, Ill.-based Portland Cement Association recently honored nine industry representatives with Promotion Progress Awards. The annual awards recognize PCA member company personnel who exhibit outstanding efforts in promoting cement and concrete products.

The winners are: Eddie Morgan, Ash Grove Cement Co.; Donald Taubert, Capitol Aggregates, Ltd.; Gene Debolt, Cemex; Gary Polsen, Essroc Cement Co.; Donald Simmons, Hercules Cement Co.; Gary Milla, Lafarge North America Inc.; Phil Pellerito, Lafarge North America Inc.; Rick Reed, Lehigh Southwest Cement Co.; and Frank Lennox, Signal Mountain Cement. Co.

“This year's winners represent outstanding efforts in promotion,” said PCA Board Chairman Mel Brekhus, also executive vice president and chief operating officer of Texas Industries Inc. “Their achievements help turn the spotlight to key markets including paving, residential, roller-compacted concrete, soil-cement, and buildings.”
