The Portland Cement Association's Education Foundation is seeking nominations of outstanding graduate students in the fields of engineering and the physical sciences for its 2007 research fellowships. Each year, PCA Educational Foundation Research Fellowships are awarded to students working on projects related to cement manufacturing; concrete technology; and, residential, public works, masonry, and engineered structures. Honorees receive a $20,000 stipend, submitted to the university to cover tuition and other related educational expenses. Award determinations will be named in June 2007.

Fellowships are open to any student pursuing studies towards a master's or doctor's degree in an engineering, science, material science, or architectural program at a nationally or regionally accredited institution of higher education in Canada or the U.S. Entry forms are available for download at www.cement.org. More information can be obtained by contacting PCA's Steve Kosmatka at 847/972-9164; or by e-mail: skosmatka@cement.org
