Ninh Binh cement plant receives further investment

A loan of US$15 million will go towards construction of the US$252 million Tam Nieap cement plant in the northern province of Ninh Binh.
Construction of the plant started in May and is expected to finish in 2003. About US$72 million of the plant's total cost will come from Vietnam with the remainder from foreign sources.
