Titan America announces the appointment of PAT BORDERS to the position of president of Separation Technologies (STI) based in Needham, Mass. Borders joined Titan America in 1997 as vice president of marketing and sales for Roanoke Cement. Since 2000, he has held the position of senior vice president of construction materials.

Lafarge North America named DENNIS LUKE quarry and raw materials manager of its Whitehall, Pa., cement plant. Luke's 15 years of cement quarry experience qualified him to replace Dave Bremer, who moved into the same position at the company's cement plant in Ravena, N.Y.

The facility also named VINCE MARTIN as its new environmental and community relations manager. Before coming to Lafarge, Martin was a senior plant environmental engineer at Reichhold, Inc., a chemical plant in Newark, N.J.; at Standard Steel in Burnham, Pa.; and at Galson Corp. in Syracuse, N.Y.

In addition, Whitehall named MICHAEL KLENK the new operations manager. He offers the plant 15 years of experience in several positions and locations within the company, including as operations manager of Lafarge Calcium Aluminates Inc. from 1998 to 2002.
