Due to former Holcim (US) Inc. President and CEO Paul Yhouse leaving the company, his four-month-old tenure as Chairman of the Portland Cement Association has also ended. Vice Chairman DANIEL HARRINGTON, President of Lehigh Cement Co.'s Lehigh North Division has been named the new Chairman.

It is uncertain at this time whether he will only act as chairman for the eight-month balance of what would have been Yhouse's term (scheduled to end November 2003) or if he will remain Chairman until November 2004.
