National Cement Co. has contracted with Loesche America to install a clinker grinding mill along with all auxiliary equipment at their Ragland, Ala., plant. This project is part of the company's modernization program to increase the finish grinding capacity from 1 million tph to 1.5 million.

The system will not only allow the plant to increase grinding capacity but also to improve the overall efficiency of the plant and reduce the specific power consumption. Loesche has been servicing the Ragland facility since the mid-1970s, when the original Loesche raw million was installed.
