The new Raytrol-OptiMill control software from Alstom Power is described in a new catalog sheet, which details product features and benefits with illustrations. The software described in the two-page publication optimizes mill operation and is designed to monitor system parameters and control roller mill systems automatically. It is designed for use on Raymond roller mills and similar pulverizing systems. The control software features an optimization algorithm and built-in intelligence. Once installed, the software goes through an initial learning procedure and builds a knowledge database for processing specific material on given pulverizing systems. Coupling Guards

Available in three types and eight sizes, these guards can accommodate close-coupled, spacer, and fluid couplings in diameters to 40 in. Motor

Rockwell Automation published a Reliance Torque Max motor brochure, highlighting the high-torque and construction of its product. The four-page, full-color brochure features photos, including on cutaway labeled to depict the features of the motor. These motors are available in 5 to 350 hp. TEFC foot-mounted motors are built with heavy cast-iron frames. Both the conduit box and fan cover also are cast iron.
