Glens Falls Lehigh Cement Co., an affiliate of Lehigh Portland Cement Co., announced its expansion into the western New York market will the acquisition of a Solvay, N.Y., cement shipping terminal. The facility was built by Blue Circle in 1990 and purchased by Lehigh from Lafarge shorty after the Lafarge finalized its acquisition of Blue Circle.
