Lafarge North America Inc. earned the Independent Builders Supply Association Inc. Supplier of the Year Award in the building material category. Based in North Carolina, IBSA selected Lafarge's gypsum operation from more than 75 vendors in the category, including vendors of roofing products, siding, and insulation as well as other specialty building materials.

“We value our business relationship with IBSA as it is based on the same honesty and integrity they offer their membership and carry through to the market,” said Lafarge North America's National Accounts Manager Jay Conlin.

IBSA is a member-owned buying organization. Lafarge was recognized for its accomplishment at an IBSA Fall Trade Show Awards Dinner in Asheville, N.C.
