Jim Vaughn, a technical service engineer at Lafarge's Tulsa, Okla. plant, earned top honors for his development of a new blend of cement. This marks the second year of Lafarge's PACE program.
The award provides high-level recognition to outstanding individuals who contribute to Lafarge's success by undertaking actions that support the company's core business strategies. The PACE award was presented at a ceremony with Lafarge North America President and CEO Philippe Rollier in Lafarge's regional cement office near Kansas City, Mo.
The PACE first runner-up award went to Gary Proctor, Ward Woolsley, and Harry Assinck of the Dundas Quarry in Ontario. A team from St-Constant cement plant in Quebec earned the second runner-up award.
