Lafarge announced the first winners of the newly established President's Award for Commitment to Excellence (PACE).
The winners were:
Stan Virgalitte, Construction Materials Eastern U.S. Region;
Chris Burnham, Joppa Cement Plant;
Jeremy Cassidy and Gaetan Lavigne, Construction Materials Eastern Canada Region;
David Gill, Construction Materials Western U.S. Region;
Michael Jonckeau, St. Constant Cement Plant;
John Whitehead, Lafarge Gypsum; and
John Stephenson, Jon Ugelstad, Jerry Foster, Lisa Askeland, Mike Depew, and Tom Crowninshield, Seattle Cement Plant.
The PACE award provides recognition to outstanding individuals who contribute to Lafarge's success by undertaking actions that support the company's core business strategies.
