International Cement, the premier conference and exhibition showcase for the cement industry for more than 35 years, recently announced that its 2002 show will take place December 8-11 at the Donald E. Stephens Convention Center (formerly the Rosemont Convention Center) in Rosemont, Ill., near Chicago's O'Hare International Airport.

In continued support of the show, Cement Americas and Rock Products (both Primedia Business magazines) will continue to co-sponsor International Cement. In addition, Cement Americas Editor Steven Prokopy will provide executive direction on the conference sessions.

Also announced was the plant tour for IC2002: Holcim's 550,000-tpy Chicago slag cement operation. The tour is scheduled for the final day of the conference, December 11.
