Holnam Inc. announced that it will build a new cement distribution terminal in Charlotte, N.C. The company is in the preliminary design and permitting stage and hopes to begin construction soon.

The new terminal will be located on 14 acres of property within city limits, just north of Charlotte International Airport, and will consist of two steel drive-under silos, a warehouse, and an office. It also will have rail access with a bucket elevator unloading system to handle product transfer into the silos. Both silos will have a storage capacity of 1,500 mt and each will have a self-service loading system. The terminal is designed to handle an annual capacity of 250,000 mt.
