On November 30, HeidelbergCement signed an agreement for the purchase of the two Danish operations Randers Cement and DK Beton. Randers Cement operates an import terminal with annual sales of about 200,000 metric tons. The product is distributed to customers in the western parts of Denmark.

With 24 plants across Denmark and 200 employees, DK Beton is one of country's major ready-mixed players. Heidelberg will integrate these acquisitions into its Northern European network and be a part of the expected positive growth in the Danish market in the coming years.
