At the end of German-based Heidelberg Cement's annual general meeting in May, the period of office for all members of the Supervisory Board came to an end. Dr. Bernd Scheifele was elected Chairman of the Board at this time.

On June 30, managing board members Hakan Fernvik, in charge of the Northern Europe region, and Paul Vanfrachem, in charge of Western Europe, Africa-Asia-Turkey and HC Trading, retired. Managing board member Daniel Gauthier has taken over the responsibilities of Vanfrachem, in addition to the Northern Europe region. Managing board member Andreas Kern is still in charge of Central Europe West region and the Maxit Group, and now also of the Central Europe East region.
