CBR had consolidated sales revenues of BEF 72.755 million ($1.91 billion) for all of 1998, up 6.8% from 1997 totals. The company had a 1998 operating income of BEF 9.881 million ($259 million), up 9% from 1997. This was due mainly to higher income achieved in North America.
