A designer, manufacturer, and distributor of conveyor equipment systems and components, Continental Global Group announced the appointment of Ronald Kaplan as president and CEO effective immediately. Kaplan will manage global activities for the company's operations in the U.S., Australia, South Africa, and the United Kingdom.
Microscopy event set for Denver
The 28th annual International Cement Microscoopy Association Conference will be held in Denver, April 30-May 4, 2006 at the Grand Hyatt Hotel. This year's event also will feature the 3rd PCA-sponsored Cement Chemist Workshop, designed as an educational seminar for chemists, quality managers, and quality engineers.
The ICMA Conference will include a workshop on “Sample Preparation for Microscopic Examination” and a panel discussion on the timely topic of “Meeting Emission Regulations through Use of Process Additions.”
Pre-registration will be available by fax or mail, and must be completed by March 31. The fee is $400; speakers pre-registration fee is $250. Registration at the conference is $500.
