Once again, the Portland Cement Association and cosponsor the Cement Association of Canada will hold a contest for the best photographs depicting safe practices in the cement industry. Entries are due October 29, 2004. The goals of the Cement Industry Innovations in Safety Photograph Contest are to:

• Honor innovative practices, programs, and projects throughout the industry;

• Communicate these ideas to others in the North American cement industry; and

• Raise the profile and importance of the safety programs both inside and outside the industry.
