Effective July 1, Continental Cement Co. became a member of Portland Cement Association. Mike Johnson, president and CE, will represent the company on the PCA board of directors.

Based in Chesterfield, Mo., Continental operates a 650,000-tpy-capacity plant in Hannibal with terminals in Bettendorf, Iowa, and St. Louis. PCA membership stands at 95% of the U.S. industry and 100% in Canada.
