The PCA Northeast Cement Shippers Association is sponsoring a one-day sustainability workshop on October 22 in Suffern, N.Y. The seminar is presented in “train the trainer” format to prepare industry members to deliver a unified message on how cement-based products contribute to sustainability in the building environment.
Topics to be covered include how concrete products contribute to LEED points, strategies to promote concrete products to sustainable designers, and improving the industry image in the green building community. Specific tracks related to the masonry and precast sectors are available. Those wishing to register for the workshop can do so at the NECSA website.
