IEEE East Coast Conference Goes Virtual

The IEEE East Coast Cement Industry Conference will be held Oct. 20-22, 2020. This online experience will closely simulate a physical conference by including panel discussions, technical papers, sharing of best practices, inspection training, and virtual plant tours of the Argos Martinsburg, W.Va., and Lehigh Hanson Union Bridge, Md., cement plants. Additionally, Ed Sullivan, chief economist and senior vice president of the Portland Cement Association, will provide an economic overview as related to the cement industry.

The conference will be divided into two main tracks. One track will focus on general interest and technical topics while the other track will focus on training and development with a special focus on equipment inspection. Although the two tracks will run concurrently, all sessions will be recorded and can be viewed for up to 14 months after the event.

Cost to attend is $25 for individuals, $150 for a plant/company, and $250, $450 or $750 for exhibiting vendors.
